Dr. Williams is one of the original founders of The Plastic Surgery Group. In 1993, a vision evolved to create one of the only group practices in plastic surgery in greater Cincinnati. The founding partners believed that plastic surgery had become a surgical discipline requiring increased public awareness so patients could access not only advances in technology and surgical techniques but also easy access to consultations across multiple office locations. The notoriety of The Plastic Surgery Group’s surgeons grew through their skill in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, as they operated within multiple healthcare organizations throughout our community.

Natives of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Dr. Williams and his family located in the area following his completion of plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University in 1989. Of course, prior to his plastic surgery training, he received a B.S. and an M.D. from the University of Kentucky and completed a residency in general surgery. Early in his career, he was one of the few surgeons certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of prestigious professional organizations, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), and the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons (SESPRS).

Entering his 38th year of practice, Dr Williams has chosen to focus his expertise on facial rejuvenation. He has developed skills in operative techniques, including minimal-access approaches using facial endoscopy, sophisticated mid-face options for surgical enhancement, and techniques to address severe neck laxity commonly seen in the aged and the weight-loss population. For years, he has been voted one of the TOP DOCTORS by Cincinnati Magazine.

Dr Williams considers himself to be a lifelong learner. As such, he pursued leadership positions in healthcare organizations, managing surgery centers at both the Christ Hospital Red Bank Surgery Center and the St Elizabeth Surgery Center at Crestview Hills. In 2017, Dr Williams received a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Cincinnati. He has lectured on Lifelong Learning and is proud of having delivered the Creighton B. Wright Lectureship at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati in June of 2022. His Curriculum Vitae also includes completing the Leadership Course offered by ASAPS in January of 2024.

Community service and Dr. Williams’ devotion to improving the lives of others is reflected in his commitment to participating on missions to repair cleft lip and palate in Nicaragua and China in 2002-2004; and serving as Chairman of The Cincinnati Friends of Charity from 2004- 2019, raising funds to be distributed to other charities in the greater Cincinnati area.

Dr. Williams believes that educating future generations of doctors, particularly those who chose surgery as their career choice, is of critical importance. For the past 5 years, he has taught in a voluntary capacity for the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, located at Northern Kentucky University, head and neck anatomy in the Anatomy lab for first-year medical students.
