HydraFacial
Cleanse. Exfoliate. Hydrate. Reveal Your Best Skin.

Hydrafacial is a nonsurgical skin treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, extract impurities, and hydrate the skin in a single treatment. It can leave your skin looking brighter, smoother, and more refreshed with little to no downtime.
Hydrafacial is appropriate for a wide range of skin types and can be customized based on your skin’s needs and your goals.
Hydrafacial can benefit patients of nearly any age who want to improve the overall appearance and health of their skin without significant downtime.
It may be a good option if you are concerned about:
Hydrafacial can also be a good choice if you want a quick treatment that leaves your skin looking refreshed without the redness or peeling associated with some more aggressive treatments.
Because it is gentle and customizable, Hydrafacial can be performed as an occasional treatment before an event or incorporated into a regular skincare program to help maintain healthy-looking skin.
Hydrafacial combines several steps into one treatment to address multiple aspects of skin health.
Hydrafacial can improve the appearance and feel of your skin, but it is not designed to replace treatments for significant wrinkles, skin laxity, or more advanced pigmentation. Depending on your goals, Hydrafacial may be combined with other skincare treatments to provide a more comprehensive approach.
Hydrafacial uses a specialized device to perform several steps during a single treatment.
Hydrafacial can be customized with additional enhancements based on your skin type and specific concerns. Depending on your goals, enhancements may be used to target hydration, congestion, uneven skin tone, pigmentation, or signs of aging.
Common enhancements may include specialized serums, boosters, LED light therapy, or other targeted treatments. During your consultation, we can recommend the enhancements that are most appropriate for your skin and goals.
A Hydrafacial is a comfortable, relaxing treatment that typically takes approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the treatment and any enhancements being performed.
Your skin will first be evaluated and cleansed. The Hydrafacial handpiece is then gently moved across the skin as it performs the cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration steps.
Most patients describe the treatment as feeling like a gentle brushing or massage of the skin. The suction used during the extraction step may feel slightly stronger in areas with more congestion, but the treatment should not be painful.
There is no need for anesthesia, and you can relax throughout the treatment.
One of the biggest advantages of Hydrafacial is that there is little to no downtime. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.
Your skin may appear:
Some patients experience mild redness immediately after treatment, particularly if more extensive extractions were performed. This typically resolves quickly.
You can generally apply makeup after your treatment, although we may recommend allowing your skin some time to absorb the products applied during your Hydrafacial.
Your skin will look refreshed immediately, while the benefits of improved hydration and exfoliation can continue to be noticeable over the following days.
How often should I get a Hydrafacial?
There is no single schedule that is right for everyone. Some patients have Hydrafacials occasionally before special events, while others choose regular treatments as part of their ongoing skincare routine. We can recommend a schedule based on your skin and goals.
How long does a Hydrafacial take?
Most Hydrafacial treatments take approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the treatment and any additional enhancements.
Does a Hydrafacial hurt?
No. Hydrafacial is generally very comfortable. Most patients describe the treatment as a gentle brushing or massage of the skin. The extraction step may create some mild pressure or suction, particularly over congested areas.
Can I wear makeup after a Hydrafacial?
Yes. Most patients can apply makeup after treatment and return to their normal activities. Depending on the specific treatment or enhancements performed, we may recommend waiting a short period before applying makeup.
Will I be red after a Hydrafacial?
Most patients have little or no redness after treatment. Mild redness can occur, particularly after extractions, but it generally resolves quickly.
Can Hydrafacial help with acne?
Hydrafacial can help cleanse congested pores and remove excess oil and impurities, which may be beneficial for patients with acne-prone skin. However, it is not a treatment for all types of acne. Patients with active or persistent acne may benefit from a more comprehensive medical skincare program.
Can Hydrafacial help with blackheads?
Yes. The cleansing and extraction components of Hydrafacial can help remove oil and debris from congested pores and improve the appearance of blackheads.
Can Hydrafacial improve fine lines?
Hydrafacial can temporarily improve the appearance of fine lines by exfoliating the skin and increasing hydration. It is not intended to treat deeper wrinkles, which may respond better to treatments such as Botox, fillers, resurfacing, or surgery.
Can I get a Hydrafacial before an event?
Yes. Hydrafacial is a popular treatment before weddings, vacations, photos, and other special events because it can leave the skin looking smoother, brighter, and more hydrated with minimal downtime. We can recommend the appropriate timing based on your skin and the treatment being performed.
Can Hydrafacial be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Hydrafacial can often be incorporated into a broader skincare program and may be combined with other treatments depending on your goals. During your consultation, we can recommend which treatments work best together and how they should be scheduled.
Is Hydrafacial appropriate for sensitive skin?
Hydrafacial can be customized for different skin types, including many patients with sensitive skin. However, the appropriate treatment intensity and products depend on your individual skin. We will evaluate your skin before treatment and adjust the treatment accordingly.
Is Hydrafacial right for me?
Hydrafacial is a versatile treatment that can benefit many different skin types and concerns. During your consultation, we will evaluate your skin and discuss your goals to determine whether Hydrafacial is the right treatment for you or whether another treatment or combination of treatments would provide a better result.
